Golf Course Tour Lake Shore Country Club, located along the Shores of Lake Erie, opened in September of 1929. The opening was highlighted by an exhibition match between the immortal Walter Hagan and Horton Smith who delighted some 3000 spectators that showed up for the event. Lake Shore is an 18-hole championship golf course, designed by famous golf architect Tom Bendelow. The course is well known for its pristine fairways and manicured greens. The links style course is also home to five par 4s that are over 400 yards. The beautiful course layout meanders through residential homes of the Lake Shore Club District. Out of bounds, sand traps, water and sloped greens from back to front continually test even the most avid golfer. Every hole at Lake Shore Country Club offers a unique experience.
