Lake Shore Country Club Staff

Tyler Hart is the unsung hero of our golf course maintenance department. He was born and raised just down the street from Lake Shore in nearby Mckean. He is a graduated of General McLane High School and the Erie County Technical School concentrating on automotive technology. Tyler was hired by former superintendent Rick Barbato back in 2012 as the equipment manager for our club. Rick mentored Tyler from day one. The two of them were inseparable for many years. Rick passed on to Tyler an incredible knowledge of the property that serves our club well each day. Upon the retirement of Mr. Barbato, Tyler was appointed by the Director of Golf Paul Schell to golf course superintendent and he‘s excelled in the role ever since. Tyler lives in Fairview with his 7 year old son Christopher. He enjoys preparing the golf course for our membership each day and always strives to improve the course on a daily basis. He has become an avid golfer since taking up the game while at Lake Shore. He also is a former Pennsylvania State Billiard Champion and still competes at the highest level when able. (We do keep him very busy) Tyler hopes to our superintendent for many years and we’re extremely privileged to have him.
