Lake Shore Country Club Staff

Becca Turner has been with the club for the past three years, but this will be her first year as Pool Director. She has loved to be around water all her life and grew up swimming at Lake Shore Country Club in the summers.

Becca has a lot of experience around the pool. She has been a lifeguard for the last 17 years and has had her Water Safety Instruction certification for the past 13 years. Previously, she coached the Girard Gators and Fairview FINS summer league teams for a combined 8 seasons and spent 10 years working at the Girard Borough Pool. She has also been involved with swim lessons through the Elk Creek Recreation Board for the last 15 years and has been the swim lesson coordinator for the past 3 years. Finally, for the last 10 seasons, she has been a coach with the Fairview High School swim team.

When not at the pool, Becca is a teacher at Fairview High School where she currently teaches environmental science and physics. She graduated with honors from Mercyhurst College with a Biology Degree, winning the science departmental award. She also has her Masters of Science in Education, with a focus on curriculum and instruction, from Wilkes University.
