This par 4 dog-leg left has out of bounds on both sides. You can take the corner with a good tee shot that will leave you 100 yards or less to the green. The approach shot is the most important shot on this hole due to the severe slope of the green from back to front.

Every rule in the rule book comes into play on this par 5 monster. One of the toughest par 5s in the area, this hole has out of bounds left and right from tee to green. A lateral water hazard running the whole left side of the hole and a water hazard in front of the green helps make this straight par five the number 1 handicap hole at Lake Shore.

Following the toughest par 5 around is the most difficult par 3. This elevated hole has no safe bail out. Your tee shot has to be exact with out of bounds behind the hole, water hazard in front and lateral hazard to the right of the green. A short tee shot will leave you with a difficult approach to a 20-foot elevated green that would test even Mickelson.

This par 4 begins with a slight dog-leg right. A good tee shot will leave you with a short iron approach but there’s more work to be done as the green is protected by two sand traps and is the most severely sloped green from back to front. Any ball hit above the pin can result in rolling your putt back off the green.

This is a straight forward par 3. One of the flatter greens on the course. The best defense of this hole are the traps which extend from the front to the back of the green.

One of the easier scoring holes on the course, this par 4 is a baby dog-leg left with out of bounds along the left side. An errant tee shot will rack up your strokes. This large green is protected by two giant bunkers.

A drivable par 4 for the long ball hitter ... the risk is out of bounds left. A misplaced tee shot makes for a very difficult approach. The hour-glass shaped green protected by bunkers makes for a difficult second shot. This green is flat on the back but severely sloped from middle to front.

The newly renovated par 5 is considered a scoring hole. Being only 480 yards, the green is reachable in two. Out of bounds left and a newly created hazard from a 100 yards into the green give this hole its only defense.

This front 9 finishing hole makes driving difficult with out of bounds to the left and thick tree lined rough to the right. A good tee shot will leave you with a short iron to the green, but be careful; a misplaced approach will leave you with a severe uphill putt or a slippery downhill knee-knocker.

This par 4, dog leg left is just over 400 yards. A good tee shot will put you within 145 yards to the green. A very wise man once said that your first shot is only as good as your second shot. And those words ring true on this hole as your approach shot leaves you hitting to a steeply sloped green surrounded by bunkers.

A good tee shot will set you up for an easy par; a poor tee shot and you can console yourself with food and beverage at the Half Way House situated right near the tee box.

The second longest hole of the golf course measures 513 yards. A long tee shot is critical to be able to reach this green in two. If you choose to lay up, your approach shot to one of the largest greens on the golf course is critical to avoiding a three putt.

A short drivable par 4 protected by front, back and side sand traps. One of the easier birdie holes on the course ... but if you’re not careful, you can easily card a bogey.

A straight tee shot on this 400 yard par 4 will leave you with a mid to low iron into a steep green surrounded by deep bunkers. The saddle in the middle of the green makes your approach shot your biggest test on this hole.

Another 400 yard plus par 4 hole, this is a sharp dog leg left that also includes a fairway bunker, ob down the left-hand side and a well-protected green.

This par 5 571 yard hole has you hitting downhill to a slight dog leg left. Out of bounds to the right and left. Two good shots will have you hitting a low to mid iron into a relatively flat green.

The last of the long par 4’s with woods down both sides of the fairway requires a straight tee shot. Trees and an approach shot over a steep gully make your second shot just as critical.

This par 3 signature hole includes a bridge you must cross to get from tee to green. The hole set up has you hitting across a deep ravine to an elongated green situated right in front of the clubhouse. Left and right are aligned with woods, short you're in the hazard, long you're through a window in the clubhouse. The gallery of eyes inside the clubhouse also add to the pressure of hitting a good tee shot.
